78,151 Reasons To Be Proud

As many of you will know, Ty Gobaith are a charity very close to our hearts here at Crime Prevention Services.

Ty Gobaith provide care and support to children and young people with life limited expectation, and their families, from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

They offer a range of services. This includes respite and end-of-life care at the hospices and/or within the family home. And support such as counselling and advocacy, as well as the promotion of children, young people’s and carers’ rights. ¹

Each year, CPS and many of our partners and friends come together for the Annual Charity Shoot – A fantastic event consisting of clay pigeon shooting, prize giving, a charity auction and so much more. The proceeds of which all go to Ty Gobaith.

In the 5 events previous to this, the Annual Charity Shoot has raised just shy of £260,000.

And a sum of £78,151 has been added to that total after this year’s shoot.  This is down to the amazing generosity demonstrated by all of those who support Ty Gobaith, and the remarkable work they do every day.

Anwyl Homes, Clogau, Conwy Land Rover, Hollingsworth GroupC.V.A.M, JRS Mechanical Services, Just Imagine Contract Exteriors, Pario Leisure Parks, Promatic & Thornley Leisure Parks. All sponsors of the Annual Charity Shoot.

In addition to these companies, Crime Prevention Services are also included as a sponsor. And we’re incredibly proud of this.

This year’s event was, again, hosted at the beautiful Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, in Tal-Y-Cafn.

The centre has provided a showcase for the best of Welsh food since its establishment in 2012. ²

Amidst the picturesque scenery of the Conwy Valley & Snowdonia, and bearing in mind the glorious weather we’ve all been lucky to experience over the last few weeks, it really did set the scene for what was a hugely successful & unforgettable day. For all involved.

Ben Roberts, Managing Director of Clogau, summed the occasion up perfectly on the Charity Shoot website:

“I personally just wanted to tell you that this day is fast becoming one of the year’s highlights for me. As not only is the day so much fun, but working with Ty Gobaith has become an absolute pleasure. This event is undoubtedly a credit to them and the hard work they’ve all invested. Thanks Ty Gobaith.”

We can’t wait for next year’s shoot!
