What does your role as Service Director involve?
I lead the Service Team who organise and deliver all our engineering support including routine maintenance visits and emergency call outs. We have a dedicated team of very experienced engineers based nationwide, who help make my job easier! No two days are the same in the Service Department, logistical and technical challenges are always keeping us on our toes! Thankfully the team around me are brilliant and between us we are always able to achieve a great solution for our customers.
How has your career planned out-where did you start, how did you move on?
My late father, Geoff Farrell, started the company in 1982 and I started working as an office junior when I was 17 whilst he was Managing Director. Over the past 21 years my role has progressed within the company mostly within the Service team before eventually arriving at Service Director.
