At Crime Prevention Services we understand the importance of supporting the local community and Deeside Dragons Girls Football Club is one of many sporting clubs in which we sponsor. This is what they have said about what our sponsorship means to them.
“On behalf of Deeside Dragons Girls FC, we would sincerely like to thank Crime Prevention Services for sponsoring the girls home kit. We are looking forward to our relationship over the coming years as we stand together to promote female football, core values, ethos and a positive community environment. The sponsorship of a girl’s grassroots football team from Crime Prevention Services has had a vital and had direct impact on the growth of female participants within football in the Deeside area of North wales. Due to making joining and taking part, football is affordable for players families. Encouraging girls to be a part of football team, supporting them and bringing down barriers such as cost, is vital for their mental well-being at such a crucial age. Giving a sense of belonging, consistency or a constant to an adolescent journey. As well as a sense of achievement, we are building long lasting friendships and giving the girls in the local community a positive environment to grow. For the girls, being part of a team is more than a game of football. While playing the game they love, they are building a community and sport network, making friends, learning life skills which can often bring families closer together and take them along on the football journey. Building self-confidence and an increase in culture of respect and integration. Most of all having fun in a positive and supportive environment. Sponsorship helps the club to achieve so many wonderful and necessary possibilities for the Girls and as a football team, the growth in female participation within our teams has been incredible, due to the ethos and making being part of our football family affordable. We would like to thank Crime Prevention Services for seeing the value in what we do here at Deeside Dragons Girls FC and supporting us through our journey.”
