CPS Embrace New ISO9001 Standards

What is the ISO9001 Standard & Why is it Important?

Crime Prevention Services is NSI Gold accredited for both our fire and security & monitoring services, an achievement of which we are rightly proud.

The NSI Gold accreditation is the highest within the fire & security industry, it incorporates the ISO9001 Quality Standard and we work hard to maintain this prestigious accreditation, including multiple external audits by the NSI (National Security Inspectorate) every year.

What is the ISO9001 Standard?

This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services.

As a company compliant with, and audited to, the ISO9001 standard, CPS customers can be assured that the services provided are to the highest standard and that CPS is rigorously audited to ensure continual improvement.

There has been a significant update to the ISO9001 standard recently and CPS are transitioning to the new ISO9001:2015 standard prior to the deadline in 2018.

One of the CPS Management Team is attending a 2-day ISO9001:2015 Transition Auditor course in Manchester this month to ensure that CPS continue to work to best practice within the industry.

Kathy Bishop (General Manager) says:

Having such a significant update to the ISO9001 Quality Standard is a fantastic opportunity for us to review all our quality procedures and ensure that our clients continue to receive the very highest level of service from us.

I am very much looking forward to attending this course and being able to discuss best practice with the experts as well as other businesses who are also making the transition to the new ISO9001 standard. Crime Prevention Services aim to achieve compliance with this standard well in advance of the September 2018 deadline for NSI Gold accredited companies.

Having the NSI Gold accreditation, which incorporates the ISO9001 standard, demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest level of quality and service to all our customers.
