Home Clothes Day July 2016

The office team at CPS have been getting their hands in their pockets and their glad-rags on to raise money for Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice in Conwy. Every Friday the office team come in with a gold-coin donation and their casual clothes on all in the name of charity.

In the past 12 months CPS has raised an impressive £650 for the charity which provides palliative and terminal care to children and young people from North Wales, including support for the whole family. Ty Gobaith also provides bereavement support and/or counselling for as long as the family need.

Kathy Bishop (General Manager) says:

Dress-Down Friday is a great opportunity for us to support an amazing local charity who do such important work with children and their families affected by serious life-limiting conditions. It is great fun to see everyone come in wearing their casual clothes each week and knowing we are helping to make a difference. CPS has always tried to give back to the local community and I’m really proud of all the team for getting involved.

Crime Prevention Services has a long history of fund-raising for charity and has been involved in the Annual Charity Shoot with Ty Gobaith for several years. The 2016 shoot event in  raised over £60,000 for Ty Gobaith thanks to the generosity of those who attended.

Beverley Bradley from Ty Gobaith says:

Many thanks to you all at CPS for raising such a  fantastic amount with your Dress Down Days! The continued support from Crime Prevention Services means that we can continue to be here for children who are affected by conditions so serious that they are not expected to live longer than early adulthood. We are here to help them enjoy the best possible quality of life and make the most of every moment.
