Tell us about Crime Prevention Services, what  is it the company does?

 

We specialise in electronic security and fire systems, everything from a burglar alarm in a domestic residence to sophisticated monitored CCTV systems for a nationwide supermarket chain. We use the latest and most technologically advanced fire and security equipment to provide the best solution for our customers’ individual needs. We pride ourselves on offering a total solution by providing installation, maintenance, remote monitoring and ongoing technical support.

What does your current role as Sales Director involve?

As Sales Director of the company my role differs from day to day. Aside from managing the Sales team, I’m very much hands on and customer facing a lot of the time. My responsibilities are to look after our valued domestic clients and business accounts, which range from caravan sites to large building merchant chains. I keep on top of the latest products and technologies available as well as assign appropriate training for new products and the latest industry standard releases.

What has been your biggest challenge?

From both a personal and work perspective this most certainly is overcoming the loss of my father in 2006. Having previously worked closely with him whilst I was learning the role, it was very difficult to continue initially without his support and knowledge of the security industry. Luckily the company had experienced members of staff in place to provide mentorship and take the business forward. A source of pride for me has been seeing the family and wider team working together to take the company from strength to strength to grow and prosper following my father’s passing.
